Participants:
The tournament is open to all Fide rated players. Limited number of unrated players will also be permitted to participate.
System:
The tournament is a 9 round Swiss system tournament. The pairing program used in the tournament is Swiss - Manager based on ratings.
Time control:
90 minutes for the first 40 moves, plus 30 minutes till the end of the game with 30 seconds increment starting from move one.
Prizes:
Total prize fund – 18 000 USD.
All prizes are in US dollars.

In case of a tie, Hort system will be used to distribute the prizes. Only 15 players in the main prize pool and 3 players in category prize sections can receive prizes. No player can receive more than one prize.
Tie-Breaks:
Tie-breaks will be carried out according to the following order:
a) Cut Buchholz-1
b) Direct encounter
c) Most black
d) Greater number of victories
The default time for the tournament is 15 min from the start of the round.

Entry fees are in AM Drams. (500 AMD ≈ 1USD)

Accommodation:
Accommodation conditions for players with FIDE rating 2550+ (August or September, 2017 Fide rating list). The number of players eligible for accommodation conditions is limited to 5 for each rating group.
